I started my working life as a tradesperson and have also spent time working as a stockman on cattle stations, however, found my calling as a support worker. I get great satisfaction working to support people to live a better life. I have great pride in being able to provide support to clients who require assistance and support and hope one day I will get the chance to meet you.

My name is Corinne. I am 49 years of age and a fifth generation Dayboro resident. I have two daughters and a son and live on a farm at Mt Pleasant with 3 dogs, a cat, 80 budgies, 175 cows and calves, a bull and 99 chooks.

I have worked casually for the past 12 years as an auditor’s assistant, a retail assistant in lady’s boutique at Samford and in a handmade soap and gift pack workshop in Dayboro before joining the team at HCSS in February of this year.

I enjoy cooking, singing, trivia, reading James Patterson and J.D. Robb novels and watching murder mysteries. I volunteer in the kitchen at the Dayboro Bowls Club and now I really enjoy working as a support worker.

Larissa

Hi, my name is Larissa and I am 19 years old. I am young but have a strong sense for helping people which is why I love working as a Support Worker. Support work has highlighted my passion for helping people and has led to me undertaking a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing which I am really enjoying. In my spare time (apart from studying) I love to read, play with my gorgeous puppy that is now 15 years old, go to the beach and travel as well as binge watch tv shows (Greys Anatomy is my favourite).

Qualifications
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing which I aim to complete by 2024. I have also completed the first year of a Bachelor of Social Work. I have a Certificate III in Tourism so I am a great travel companion.

I have been a support worker for nearly a year now and I absolutely love what I do – I’ve found it to be such a rewarding job, being able to help out others in their homes and around the community, all while meeting lovely new people all the time and learning new things.

Nicole

Hi, I’m Nicole! I enjoy working in roles that provide me with the opportunity to enhance people’s lives as this type of work has always been close to my heart. I love the modern day take on romantic musicals with soundtracks that get me singing. On my days off I enjoy spending time with my family, partner of 10 years, 3 bonus kids, 2 dogs, 3 budgies and a cat. I am an avid crocheter and like to listen to crime podcasts. People often describe me as empathetic, conscientious and kind-hearted.
