I have had a working relationship with HCSS since the beginning of 2022. I wanted to hire HCSS because when I enquired about the service, Louise Briggs came to my home to meet me in person, to explain the services her company could provide and to find out my needs with empathy and without judgement. I was without services for over a year when my then new support coordinator strongly recommended Louise and HCSS.

I was tired of letting in bigger service providers treat me, and worse, their own staff like numbers on a spreadsheet (I could have been far less kind…).

Louise respected my circumstances and allowed me the opportunity to work with them in how to best serve my needs. Having heard my concerns and what I was looking for, Louise arranged a meeting with a potential carer, and that was that. Now we roam greater Brisbane together, in search of all manner of things, laughing all the way.

Louise at HCSS was recommended to us by two separate companies – Anglicare and Scarborough Physio. Louise at HCSS and her staff are known for their competence, outstanding client service, and NDIS experience. We made the initial phone call, and immediately knew Louise was 100% focused on what we as clients needed. She is knowledgeable, reassuring, friendly and sincere. We had met someone who would bring the right service providers into our lives to fully utilise our NDIS plan and to optimise the best possible quality of care for us.

When you are approved for an NDIS plan, coming in from outside this wheelhouse, it is baffling and overwhelming. My husband was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease, at 63. His mental capacity is constantly diminishing, and we needed someone that would bring specialised service providers to best care for him. Louise immediately organised the most appropriate service providers and staff of HCSS to optimise Malcolms changing care needs.

From our initial meeting, it was obvious that Louise has specialist knowledge and experience in her field. Louise utilises her ability to choose staff where support work is not just a job, it is a vocation. It is a credit to Louise that her clients’ needs are at the forefront of her business. Her knowledge is unique in its breadth and depth. Louise tailors her clients needs to provide the necessary support service for my husband be it Speech Pathologists, Occupational Health professionals, Fitness Trainers, Cyclists, Domestic Services, Maintenance Services. Louise manages the service agreements & funding, revisiting and tailoring the different funding streams expertly. We could not fault the service Louise and staff provide us, they are exemplary. We are 100% satisfied with the service that Louise provides, going above and beyond at times when necessary for her clients.

The impact that HCSS and Louise have had on our lives has been literally life changing. Every aspect of my husbands and my life as his carer has been impacted by engaging Louise. We feel we have a safety net, someone that is there 24/7. Louise is there to look after our changing needs, so that we are able to enjoy our lives stress free. The great service that she and her staff provide is immeasurable. It is so reassuring to be in the care of HCSS.
